decor and entertainment classes With a formal education in performance, computer science and education,
Larry searched long and hard for a career that would allow him to
combine all three interests. Balloon art proved to be the answer.
His art has been seen on stages, street corners, television and in
classrooms in 11 countries on 4 continents. Currently holding the
record for the largest non-round balloon sculpture in the world, Larry
has taken the art of balloon twisting in a new direction. He has
found ways of incorporating the techniques he originally created for
stage performances into decor for parties. He tries hard to share
the knowledge he has acquired on balloon art in his books and in the
online community he founded in 1992. That online community,
BalloonHQ.com, continues to be not only an outlet for him to share his
thoughts on balloons, but one of his favorite places to learn from
others.
